Exhibiting plan in 2023
In 2023, the curatorial intention develops following themes such as sustainability, being present in the here and now, revising the present and searching for lost worlds.
Key media are contemporary drawing, site-specific installation, artist-run space phenomenon and collaboration with foreign authors. We continue to aim to introduce the Emerging and Mid-Career Artists. The exhibition plan explores the phenomena of: "contemporary drawings with overlaps", the possibilities of "independent curator" and different formats of "art collaboration", following on from the already published four professional publications.
Ukrainian artist Darja Lukyanenko, Czech-Swedish artist Alice Máselníková, director of the Supermarket Independent Art Fair festival, selected artists from the artist-run space of the artist collective Durden and Ray Gallery from Los Angeles, Romanian author Lucian Sandu Milea from the Bucharest ETAJ artist-run space will be presented. At the end of the year, the Danish artist Maja Gade will exhibit from the CC Gallery in Malmö, Sweden. In May, we will present ourselves at the international exhibition Supermarket Independent Art Fair in Stockholm.
Altán Klamovka aims to create an autonomous exhibition zone for Czech and foreign visual artists. The gallery supports their professional development. The uniqueness of the gallery, even though it has a small exhibition space, is the possibility to work with site-specific projects.
